Vanguard Ambassador Caron Steele studied Zoology at Oxford University and then went on to a career in banking and advertising, before moving to Worcestershire in 1992.
Caron's love for wildlife has been rekindled by her passion for photography, which she took up in 2014 and has already won several prestigious awards including:

- 2019 Bird Photographer of the Year
- 2019 Amateur Photographer of the Year
