Vanguard's Rifle Bipods

April 03, 2025 , Vanguard World

Vanguard has been designing and manufacturing award winning support systems since 1986 and has used that experience to launch a new range of lightweight rifle bipods. The bipods come in two series – the Equalizer Series and the EQ-Precision Series.

EQUALIZER

The Equalizer Series is a range of six bipods in aluminium and carbon fibre, and comes with a helical buffer spring that absorbs vibration and recoil, while allowing your aim to be rotated ±35° and tilted ±10°.

These bipods come in two sizes. The smaller goes from 8-10” (±0.5”) and the larger from 10-14” (±0.5”).

These bipods attach to the sling stud of your rifle and there is a choice of bipods that are designed to remain permanently attached to the sling stud of your rifle, or with a Picatinny Rail based quick release system (look for “QS” in the product name) which allows you to remove the bipod. This allows you to lighten your rifle when a bipod is not needed, or swap your bipod between rifles with ease.

If your rifle has a built in Picatinny Rail then the “QS” models will fit directly to the rifle, but the Equalizer bipod includes an Endeavor Pic Rail that attaches to the sling stud of your rifle and allows you to attach the bipod. If you have multiple rifles, you can purchase additional Endeavor Pic Rails tow be able to swap rifles.

EQ-PRECISION

The EQ-Precision Series is a range of two carbon fibre bipods and comes with a ball joint that allows you to adjust your aim in seconds for the most precise shot, allowing your aim to be rotated ±360° and tilted ±35° with ease, and locked off with an oversized locking knob.

This series only comes with the Picatinny Rail based quick release system and is available in two sizes where the smaller goes from 8.5-10.5” and the larger from 10.5-14.5”.

THE LEGS

The legs of both series are based on the same design and use a simple and silent push button system to deploy or stow the legs.  The legs can be stowed facing towards the stock or towards the end of the barrel for the most convenient position for your rifle. The legs can be extended rapidly with one hand using the silent twist locks, and there are retractable rubber to spiked feet for use on any terrain.
