The VEO 3 303CPS is a solid full sized carbon fibre tripod with an Arca compatible 3-way pan head and a traditional up/down central column that holds up to 10kg, perfect for photographers who value stability.
Weighing 2.2kg, this tripod includes 3-section, 30mm diameter legs that incorporate silent, easy clean twist locks and can hold up to 10kg.
Perfect for almost any photographer, this tripod folds to 74cm and extends to 182cm, or 148cm with the central column down.
For added stability, there is a retractable hook to attach additional weight, and the rubber feet come off to allow the spiked feet provided to be attached.
For low angle, or macro shots, the tripod comes with three easy-set leg angles (20°, 50° and 80°) and a low angle adaptor. Alternatively, simply reverse the central column and you're ready to go.
On the side of the central canopy spider are two 3/8" threads for tripod support arms, allowing you to attach the accessories of your choice. These threads include bayonet slots on either side that ensure maximum stability on tripod support arms with that feature, such as the VEO TSA DLX which has a reversible plate for bayonet/non-bayonet fittings.
If you want to be able to attach additional accessories to the central column, or set up the tripod for overhead shots, you could consider the VEO MT-12 Multi-Mount.
To maximise stability, there is no monopod option with this tripod.
On top of the tripod is a 58mm base plate that includes a reversible 1/4" to 3/8" thread that can be used to fit any tripod head. This can then be secured to the tripod using the screws on the base plate.
Fitted to the base plate is an Arca compatible VEO PH-36S 3-way pan head with 10kg load capacity. This includes a rotating top handle that allows you to set up for use with a long lens (standard setup) or an L-bracket (by rotating the top handle 90°).
