The Vanguard QS-71P Quick Shoe is a long and slim Arca compatible quick release plate with a 1/4" camera screw, non-twist spring pin and anti-slip rubber pads to provide a solid and steady link to your chosen spotting scope or long lens in just seconds.
The quick shoe can be attached to the base of the camera:
- By hand using the D-ring
- Using an Allen key
- Using a coin
- Using a screwdriver

The Vanguard QS-71P Quick Shoe is an Arca compatible quick release plate with a 1/4" camera screw, a non-twist spring pin and anti-slip rubber pads to provide a solid and steady link to your chosen spotting scope or long lens in just seconds.
With a long and narrow platform, the QS-71P is perfect for longer lenses and spotting scopes, and features an adjustable 1/4" thread that allows it to be moved forwards/back for the perfect position for your kit.
The quick shoe can be attached to the base of the spotting scope or long lens:
- By hand using the D-ring
- Using an Allen key
- Using a coin
- Using a screwdriver
While this quick release plate can be used with your camera, it is not the optimal choice and we would recommend you have a separate quick release plate for your camera. For a DSLR the QS-74 may be more suitable, or for a smaller mirrorless camera the QS-65 may be more suitable.
