Observe or capture the moment from the comfort of your car, with a choice of two VEO 2 Window Mounts which can easily attach to vehicle windows. Alternatively, these window mounts can be attached to fences, hides, tree branches and many more options, enabling a steady platform for spotting scopes, cameras or camcorders.
The base of the VEO 2 window mount has a clamp that opens up to 1.25"/31mm with a large surface area and a non-slip rubber face to offer maximum grip on any surface.
There are two models:
VEO 2 BH-50WM Window Mount is ideal for photographers who want the option to do video or use a spotting scope on occasion. It features a unique VEO 2 BP-50 ball head that can convert in seconds to a pan-head with a telescopic handle. With a maximum load capacity of 11lbs/5kg, friction control & a separate pan lock it enables the photographer to take the most technical of shots, in landscape or portrait. Simply attach the telescopic pan-handle and it offers the control needed for tracking a moving subject with ease, either for video or spotting scopes.
VEO 2 PH-28WM Window Mount includes a more traditional 2-way pan-head for spotting scopes or video, with an 8.8lb/4kg load capacity. The head is controlled using the single pan-handle that always leaves one hand free for other tasks, such as managing the focus or zoom.
Both models feature longer Arca Swiss quick release plates that are designed to allow you to easily secure a spotting scope or camcorder to the window mount, but can also be used for a mirrorless/DSLR camera. The Arca system also allows you to select the right quick release plate for your needs, not just from Vanguard.
For bird watchers using a spotting scope with an Arca Swiss compatible base (such as the Endeavor HD spotting scopes), it can be slotted directly onto the head without the need for a quick release plate, making the most stable base possible.
