In August 2020 we introduced the new VEO ED 8x42 and 10x42. These models launched Vanguard’s Carbon Composite Body into the UK market to deliver lightweight and robust binoculars with Extra Low Dispersion (ED) glass at an affordable price.
Two years later and we’re please introduce two new models with 50mm objective lenses – VEO ED 10x50 and VEO ED 12x50.
These new 50mm Vanguard binoculars boast the same IPX 7 rated waterproof and fogpoof carbon-infused housing, protected by premium Mitsubishi Rubber Armour, making them easy to carry, comfortable to grip, and dependable for years of use in the field.
The 50mm objective lens improves the performance in low light conditions, whether to observe wildlife later into the evening, or to enjoy an evening of stargazing, and with up to 12x magnification, you can get closer to your subject than ever before.
Each model incorporates Extra Low Dispersion (ED) glass that is fully multi-coated with Vanguard’s Multiguard® 4 formula, and a BaK4 roof prism for outstanding clarity.
For individual use, they include 3-stage twist up eyecups that can be used with/without spectacles, a ±4 dioptre wheel and a centre focus wheel.
If you want to capture and share images of your observations, you can use the VEO PA-62 Universal Digiscope Adaptor (available separately) with almost any smartphone up to 90mm wide. To get the most out of this, you will need a tripod adaptor like Vanguard’s BA-185, and a tripod such as the VEO 2PRO Series or the ultimate new VEO 3 Birdwatcher Series.
